We will pick you up at 5:00 am from your hotel or chosen location and drive towards the Nairobi-Mombasa Highway. As the sun rises, we will pass by local homesteads and Maasai herders wrapped in their colorful shuka cloth. The magnificent Mt. Kilimanjaro will be visible throughout the journey, leading us to Amboseli National Park where we will embark on our first drive. Here, we will see great trains of elephants parading against the backdrop of the majestic mountain.
After the first drive, we will have breakfast at the Lodge. Then, we will continue exploring the park’s marshes, plains, and hills. We will be on the lookout for lions, zebras, buffalos, cheetahs, gazelles, and elephants. We’ll take a break and climb up to the park’s Observation Hill for a walking break to view the expanse of the areas below and the vistas beyond.
We’ll have our packed lunch in the park, which offers stunning views of Kilimanjaro and the natural ambiance of the park. Finally, we’ll embark on our final game drive, looking for more wildlife and possibly visiting a favorite spot.
After our exploration, we will head back to Nairobi, and we expect to arrive in town between 7:00 pm and 8:00 pm.
