We will pick you up from Nairobi airport or your hotel between 6 a.m. and 7 a.m. Then we will travel through the central highlands of Kenya, where you can enjoy views of coffee, tea, sisal, pineapple, and subsistence farming activities. Upon arriving at your Lodge or Camp, you will be served lunch and given time to refresh. Afterward, we will embark on an afternoon game drive until 6 p.m. Then you’ll return to your camp or Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
SAMBURU SIMBA LODGE
Start your day with a delicious breakfast and bring along a picnic lunch as you embark on an exciting full-day game drive in the expansive Samburu National Reserve. You’ll have the opportunity to see a variety of Kenyan wildlife, including cheetahs, lions, leopards, impalas, buffalo, hippos, and dik-diks, as well as unique species like gerenuks, Grevy’s zebras, reticulated giraffes, and Beisa Oryx. The dry season is the best time to view animals as they gather around the Usaso Nyiro River, which is their primary source of water during extended periods of drought. You may even spot elephants and Nile crocodiles swimming in the river.
Tomorrow morning, you will embark on a scenic game drive as you depart from Samburu. Along the way, a stop will be made to take in the Thompson Falls at Nyahururu. Later, you will proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park, situated on the base of the Great Rift Valley and renowned for its vast array of bird species. Upon arrival, you will settle into your Lodge or Camp, where you will enjoy lunch and refreshments. Following this, an afternoon game drive will commence, lasting until late evening. Lake Nakuru National Park is famous for its migratory flamingoes and other water bird species, as well as its population of black and white rhinos, buffaloes, and tree-climbing lions – a unique sight exclusive to this park in Kenya. Accommodation options include the budget-friendly WCK A guest house and the mid-range Lake Nakuru Lodge. Enjoy a delightful dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.
LAKE NAKURU LODGE
After your game drive at Lake Nakuru, you’ll head to Masai Mara National Reserve. Before reaching your destination, you’ll stop for lunch in Narok town. Once you arrive, check into your chosen Lodge or Camp to freshen up before embarking on an evening game drive that will last until late. You’ll then have dinner and spend the night at a budget or Lodge accommodation.
Start your day with breakfast before heading out on a full-day game drive in Masai Mara National Reserve. Bring a picnic lunch with you on board to enjoy at a picturesque picnic site by the river where you can observe hippos and crocodiles. End the day with dinner and an overnight stay in a self-contained tented camp or lodge. Your meal plan for the day includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
After enjoying breakfast, you’ll have the opportunity to visit the Masai villages and delve deeper into their culture. Once you’ve finished, you’ll check out of your Lodge or Camp and head to Lake Naivasha. Upon arrival, you’ll check in and have some time to refresh yourself. Afterward, you can visit the local fishermen at the beach and try your hand at fishing using a canoe for about an hour. Additionally, you have the option to take a boat ride on Lake Naivasha. Finally, dinner and an overnight stay will be provided at your Camp, Lodge, or Hotel.
After enjoying your breakfast, it’s time to check out of your Lodge/Camp. You’ll then proceed to Nairobi, making a brief stopover at the Rift View-point where you can take beautiful photos. Once you’ve captured those memories, we’ll continue our journey to Nairobi, arriving in time for lunch.
