Your adventure begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi as you travel north towards Samburu National Reserve.
The drive takes you through changing landscapes, small towns, and beautiful countryside scenery before arriving at your safari lodge or camp in time for lunch.
Later in the afternoon, head out for your first game drive in Samburu. Unlike other parks in Kenya, Samburu is known for its unique wildlife species including the Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, and gerenuk.
The reserve also has healthy populations of elephants, lions, leopards, and crocodiles along the Ewaso Nyiro River.

After breakfast, head out for an early morning game drive in Samburu National Reserve. Explore the reserve’s dry landscapes, open plains and scenic riverbanks while looking for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras and Samburu’s unique wildlife. Return to the lodge for lunch and some time to relax.
After lunch, continue with an afternoon game drive through Samburu. Follow the river and open savannah in search of more wildlife, with opportunities to see elephants crossing the river, lions resting beneath acacia trees and large herds of antelope moving across the plains.
Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Today you will head to Lake Nakuru National Park, one of Kenya’s most famous wildlife parks.

As you explore the park, you will enjoy beautiful views of the lake surrounded by acacia forests and rocky escarpments.

After breakfast, continue your journey towards the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve.
