Amboseli One-Day Trip Itinerary

FULL DAY AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK TOUR FROM NAIROBI

We will pick you up from your hotel or preferred residence in Nairobi at 5:00 AM and head towards the Nairobi-Mombasa Highway. As we drive, we will pass through colorful shukas worn by Maasai herders and local homesteads while the sun rises. The majestic Mt. Kilimanjaro shines up ahead, leading us to Amboseli National Park where we will start our first drive. Here, we will see large families of elephants marching against the backdrop of this great mountain.

We will have breakfast after the initial drive. Then, we’ll explore the marshlands, plains, and hills of the park together, looking out for lions, zebras, buffaloes, cheetahs, gazelles, and elephants. We will take a walking break at Observation Hill to get an expansive view of the surrounding areas.

Our packed lunch will be enjoyed inside the park with scenic views towards the heights of Kilimanjaro. To finish off, we’ll embark on our last game drive in search of wildlife, including any favorite spots.

After a busy day in Amboseli National Park, we will head back to Nairobi and aim to reach the city between 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
