our safari begins with a morning pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Meet your driver-guide, settle into your safari vehicle and begin the scenic journey south towards Amboseli National Park.
As you leave the city behind, enjoy views of the countryside and the changing landscapes along the way. Arrive in Amboseli around lunchtime and check in at your lodge or camp. After lunch, take some time to relax and prepare for your first adventure in the park.
In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive. Amboseli National park is renowned for its large elephant herds, open plains and wetlands that attract a variety of wildlife. Keep an eye out for elephants, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, buffaloes and, with a little luck, lions and other predators. When the skies are clear, Mount Kilimanjaro creates a spectacular backdrop for photographs.
Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, check out and depart Amboseli for Tsavo West National Park. Enjoy the changing scenery as you travel from Amboseli’s open plains towards Tsavo West’s rugged volcanic landscape.
Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and a short rest before heading out for an afternoon game drive. Explore the park’s dramatic terrain, which includes rocky hills, acacia woodland, open grasslands and striking volcanic formations.
Depending on your route and time, visit Mzima Springs, a beautiful natural oasis where clear water rises through volcanic rock. The springs are known for their lush surroundings and wildlife, including hippos and crocodiles that may be observed from designated viewing areas.
Continue your game drive in search of elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes and other wildlife. Tsavo West’s varied terrain makes each drive a different experience, with scenic viewpoints and fascinating natural features along the way.

After the game drive, exit the park and travel towards Nairobi, with a lunch stop along the way.
Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon, where your driver-guide will drop you off at your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, depending on your onward travel arrangements.
